Snow is expected to continue accumulating in Enfield through Monday evening.

ENFIELD, CT — A prolonged winter storm will continue to impact Enfield through Monday evening, prompting a townwide parking ban, trash and recycling delays, and the closure of all public schools and town programs.

Snow is expected to slow down early Monday morning but continue to accumulate through about 5 p.m. Monday, according to an update from State Rep. John Santanella.

Enfield Public Works has placed a parking ban in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, through 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26. Officials said all vehicles must be removed from streets during that time to allow plows to operate. Vehicles left on the road may be towed at the owner’s expense.
