Enfield Teen Charged with Sexual Assault

An Enfield teenager was arrested Monday morning on a warrant charging him with sexual assault and two other felonies.

Victor Attisso, 19, of 16 Elan St., was charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child and illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16.

Judicial records indicate the incident leading to Attisso’s subsequent arrest occurred on May 11 of this year. The judicial web site also says Attisso was released from custody on a promise to appear in court.

Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said the incident “took place in Enfield and involved a minor,” but would not release any more information. The warrant for Attisso’s arrest is currently sealed, he said.

Attisso is scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court Aug. 18.
