Enfield Woman Working to Save Abandoned Cats

Dawn Struck has organized the Enfield Community Cat Project.

ENFIELD, CT - A local woman frustrated with seeing abandoned and stray cats has decided to do something about the situation, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Dawn Struck has organized the Enfield Community Cat Project, which originated as a Facebook page and has evolved into a group which may seek nonprofit status.

Struck recently rescued a family of cats - two adults and four newborn kittens - from a home where the tenants had been evicted and left the felines behind.
