Enfield Workers Pitch In for Credit Union Donation to Foodshare

Hartford area credit unions including the Enfield Community FCU and the Connecticut Credit Union Charitable Foundation recently donated $2,000 to Foodshare in Bloomfield.

The donated funds were raised through an annual raffle supported by Connecticut’s credit unions and their members. The Connecticut Credit Union Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization representing Connecticut’s credit unions through charitable giving with a mission to help feed those in need throughout the state.

Foodshare helps support those in need throughout Hartford and Tolland counties. Foodshare works to build self-sufficiency through several program that help people identify their goals and give them resources to achieve those goals.
