Flashback Friday: Do You Remember...?

An old advertisement and story of a business from Enfield's past.

ENFIELD, CT — In this weekly series, Enfield Patch remembers a business or landmark that is no longer in town through publication of old advertisements from some 1960s-1990s Enfield and Fermi high school yearbooks and early-1960s to mid-1980s telephone directories and newspapers.

Today we go back just a little over 20 years to the 1996 Fermi High School yearbook, and an ad from a small restaurant that was one of a long line of businesses over the years that operated out of a small freestanding building at 375 Enfield Street.

La Molisana was a pizza and grinder shop which was in business at that location during the 1990s. Prior to that, the building had housed several businesses, most prominently Colonial Camera. It is currently vacant, and has been for several years.
