Former Enfield Standout Elected to CT Field Hockey Hall of Fame
She and eight other individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, Sept. 16.

ENFIELD, CT — A former field hockey standout at Enfield High School will join eight other honorees as members of the Class of 2018 of the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
Lisa (Scavotto) Capogna, a 1997 Enfield graduate, is being inducted as a high school player. She was a member of two Class M state championship teams with the Raiders in 1993 and 1994, while capturing All-State and All-Conference honors and three Central Connecticut Conference championships. She was part of the Atlantic Region U16 Team for nationals and played Junior Olympics in 1995, and attended the Futures U19 National Field Hockey Tournament in 1996. She was also Most Valuable Player of the winning Cape Cod Classic Tournament Team. As a three-sport athlete, she earned numerous athletic and academic accolades at Enfield before going on to a stellar Division I college career at Quinnipiac University.
