Concerts Continue In Enfield This Summer

ENFIELD, CT — Free summer concerts are back in Enfield.

The Enfield Summer Concert Series continues Tuesday nights at the Bandshell at Higgins Park, located behind Town Hall, with shows beginning at 7 p.m., according to a town announcement.

The concerts are presented by the Enfield Culture and Arts Commission and feature a mix of jazz, blues, rock, yacht rock and tribute bands. Admission is free, and residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, family and friends.

The series began June 9 with “Jazz, Swing, and the American Songbook,” part of Enfield’s America250 events.

The remaining schedule includes:

• June 16: Trailer Trash
• June 23: Malado
• June 30: Mass/Conn Fusion
• July 14: Six-Pack of Blues
• July 21: Whiskey Traveler
• July 28: The Yacht Rock Band
• Aug. 4: 7 Roads and Enfield’s National Night Out
• Aug. 11: Beyond Purple, a tribute to Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Rainbow
• Aug. 18: Little Lies, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band

In case of bad weather, the rain date is the following night, according to the event flyer.
