Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Event Planned In Enfield

Caregivers will be able to meet officers, ask questions and get help on school safety, internet use and emergencies.

ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police and local social services officials are inviting grandparents raising grandchildren to a special community event later this month.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Enfield Social Services at Alcorn School, 1010 Enfield St.

According to the flyer, the gathering will be hosted by the Enfield Police Department’s Community Police Division. Organizers say it is designed as a chance for caregivers to meet officers, ask questions, share concerns and build stronger connections in a relaxed setting.
