Gunfire May Be Heard Near Enfield
Enfield police said officers are conducting low-light firearms training at the department range until no later than 10 p.m.
ENFIELD, CT — Residents near the Enfield Police Department range may hear sporadic gunfire Thursday evening as officers conduct low-light firearms training, police said.
The training is taking place July 9 at the EPD range, located at the Town Transfer Station, according to the department.
Police said gunfire may be heard in the surrounding area during the evening hours as officers complete the training. All training activities are expected to conclude no later than 10 p.m.
