Horse Farm Among 33 New Businesses Registered In Enfield In August
Enfield added 33 new businesses in August, from a horse farm to bakeries, boutiques and moving companies, records show.
ENFIELD, CT — Thirty-three businesses registered in Enfield in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry, a mix of home-based ventures, retailers and contractors setting up around town. Lessors of residential buildings and dwellings led the list with five new filings, followed by two retail bakeries, two personal-service businesses and two general-merchandise retailers.
Among the new arrivals: AGT Livestock, LLC on Taylor Road, filed under horses and other equine production; Sweet & Salty Treats LLC, a retail bakery on Laurel Street; and CSR Dental PLLC on Mary Esther Drive. Thirty-two of the 33 businesses organized as limited liability companies.
Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a storefront or service actually launches. The full list of Enfield's August filings, with addresses and business categories, is below.
