I-91 In Enfield Closed After Garbage Truck, Tractor Trailer Collide
The northbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours after becoming littered with Amazon packages which had been in the truck.
ENFIELD, CT — An early-morning collision between a garbage truck and a tractor trailer on Interstate 91 Monday resulted in closure of the highway for several hours, according to state police.
The crash in the northbound lanes near Exit 46 was reported around 3:10 a.m. The tractor trailer was carrying Amazon packages which scattered across the highway, necessitating the closure.
