Serious Crash Shuts Down I-91 South In Enfield
State police said serious injuries were reported after a multi-car crash on I-91 south in Enfield.
ENFIELD, CT — State police say serious injuries have been reported following a multi-car crash on Interstate 91 south in Enfield, where the highway remains closed as investigators work at the scene.
According to preliminary information from the Connecticut State Police, Troop H personnel responded to I-91 south in the area of Exit 46 for a multi-vehicle collision. Serious injuries were reported, and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad (CARS) was requested to respond.
I-91 South and the Exit 47 on-ramp are closed as the investigation continues. Motorists traveling in the area are being urged to seek alternate routes and use caution due to hazardous roadway conditions from the ongoing snowstorm.
