Legendary Wrestlers Coming to Enfield For Special Benefit Show

ENFIELD, CT — Some of the biggest names in professional wrestling history will descend upon Enfield on Aug. 24, as two of the top independent promotions in New England join forces for an all-star benefit show.

Celebrating its fourth anniversary, Enfield-based Blitzkrieg! Pro is teaming up with Big Time Wrestling to present a tremendous lineup at the CREC Civic Leadership High School, located at 1617 King Street. Doors open at 6 p.m., with bell time slated for 7:30 p.m.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart will accompany his nephews, Teddy Hart and Harry Smith (collectively known as the New Hart Foundation), as they take on the Lucha Bros. (Ray Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) in a Big Time tag team championship match. The Blitzkrieg! tag team titles will also be up for grabs in a three-team ladder match, featuring the Batiri, the Maine State Posse and the East Coast Bastard Crew.

Blitzkrieg! Bedlam champion Skylar puts her title on the line against Kris Stadtlander in a falls-count-anywhere match. Former WWE superstar The Boogeyman is slated to meet Orange Cassidy and All Elite Wrestling signee Maxwell Jacob Friedman takes on VSK. Three-time World Wrestling Federation tag team champions Demolition and Jake Hager (formerly known as ex-WWE champion Jack Swagger) are also scheduled to appear, along with many more talented stars from Blitzkrieg! and Big Time.

Part of the proceeds from the event will aid the family of an area youth whose medical struggles have generated sizable bills.
