LETTER: Support For Frank Alaimo As District 3 Enfield Councilor
Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

I've never written an editorial before, so please bear with me. I'm writing about one of my best friends who's running as a Republican for District 3 councilor. I don't know any other way to write this except from my heart about Frank the man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He's a lifelong resident of Enfield growing up in the Thompsonville section, known as Frenchtown, where his parents ran a small variety store. Frank grew up very proud of his Italian heritage and his love of Enfield and very strong hometown values.
Frank was a career firefighter climbing in the ranks to chief, you don't choose a career in the fire service to get rich, you choose that career path to help people and for love of your community. I could make list of achievements that Frank championed but like l said in the beginning, l just want to talk about Frank Alaimo the man. He's honest, a fighter, a go getter and will get the job done; you couldn't ask for a better person on your side.

Now very quickly for those of you who know Arnie Grimaldi, l wouldn't be writing this if l don't truly believe Frank is the right person for the council.
