ENFIELD, CT — My name is Theresa Meyer, and sometimes referred to as “The Accountant with Personality.” I am asking for your vote on November 2nd as I am running for Enfield Board of Education.
I grew up in Enfield and graduated from Enrico Fermi High School and a kid, I worked in the tobacco fields and various restaurants around town. After high school, I joined the U.S. Navy where I was a firefighter and then a disbursing clerk (military payroll). After leaving the service, I came back here to Enfield and worked at Hallmark Cards, where I met my son’s father.
I attended Asnuntuck Community College and finished my two-year degree at the Community College of Rhode Island. I graduated with an Associates Degree in Accounting. I continued my education at Bryant University and graduated with a BSBA in Science and Administration,

majoring in Accounting and minoring in Psychology, with a focus on Child Developmental Psychology.
After Bryant, I opened my accounting business part time and worked at a few different CPA firms until I became a full-time business owner in Connecticut in 2015.

My reason for running for Enfield Board of Education is because I have a lifetime of experience, I raised my son to be an outstanding individual, I have a successful business and I have time to give something back to Enfield. I have the drive and desire to help the future generations realize their life’s potential. My life mission is to contribute to those who cross my path to help them obtain success, expand their education, and have a life full of happiness, if possible.
On November 2nd, I ask for your vote. I have the desire, the drive and the passion to do the best job for the people of Enfield – and I look forward to being your next board of education member.
Theresa Meyer
