Lightning Strikes Twice For Lucky Enfield Lottery Player
A local man claimed his second large prize in the past five weeks Tuesday at CT Lottery headquarters.
ENFIELD, CT — For the second time in five weeks, a lucky CT Lottery player from Enfield has cashed in a big prizewinning scratch ticket purchased at a local merchant.
Ernesto Gonzalez Castaneda turned a $20 investment in a 20X Cash 5th Edition ticket into a $20,000 bonanza. He bought the ticket at the Mobil Mart at 100 Elm Street, and claimed his winnings Tuesday.
On June 9, Gonzalez Castaneda claimed a $10,000 prize on a $30 ticket in the $5,000,000 Ultimate game. That ticket was purchased at Enfield Liquor & Wine at 920 Enfield Street.
