Margaret L. Johansen, 42; Enfield Resident Who Was A Bus Driver
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4 with the funeral Mass scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Margaret L. Johansen, 42, of Enfield passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford.
Born February 5, 1973 in Manchester daughter of the late Walter R. Johansen, Sr. and the late Margaret L. (McGrath) Johansen she grew up in East Hartford before moving to Enfield 21 years ago.

Margaret was a bus driver for Smyth Bus Co. for the past 16 years. She was a very active “dance mom” at Riley’s Dance Studio in Enfield while supporting her daughter Caitlin, she played the role as “Mom” to many of Caitlin’s friends as well. Her daughter was the love of her life.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Caitlin Johansen of Enfield; a brother, Walter R. Johansen, Jr. and his wife Lillian of Murphy, TX; two sisters, Maureen Johansen of Enfield, Kathy LaMontagne and her husband Donald of Enfield; nieces and nephews, Meaghan and Serena LaMontagne and Robert and Cody Johansen. She also leave her two best friends, Margo Cortez and Karen Therian.

She was predeceased by a niece, Lily LaMontagne.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, August 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 5, at 10 a.m., at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Burial will be in Enfield St. Cemetery, Enfield.
