Massage Therapist From Enfield Facing 2nd Sexual Assault Charge

A massage therapist from Enfield working in Glastonbury last fall has been arrested on sexual assault charges, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A massage therapist working in Glastonbury last fall has been arrested on a sexual assault charge in a second case involving a client, police said.

Patrick Corning, 27, of Enfield, was arrested via warrant for second-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct.

Corning is accused of "inappropriately touching" a female massage therapy client in September 2018 while employed by Massage Envy in Glastonbury.

It was the second arrest in two months in cases involving Corning and a client, police said. He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct on Dec. 6 for a similar incident with a client, also last September, police said.

Corning surrendered on Monday, was released on a $50,000 surety bond, and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 27, police said.
