Missing Enfield Woman Found Safe

She had been reported missing early Saturday evening.

ENFIELD, CT — A search for a missing Enfield woman took nearly six hours before she was found safe around midnight Saturday, police said.

Aimee Gemme, 38, had been reported missing around 6 p.m. Her car was found parked at the Scantic Rapids Park in the Powder Hollow section of Hazardville, where the search originated.

An extensive search included a state police helicopter. Gemme's family was on scene assisting, police said.
