Motorcycle, SUV Collide In Busy Enfield Intersection

Enfield police are investigating a serious Monday evening crash between a motorcycle and SUV.

ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police Tuesday morning were piecing together the details of a serious crash involving a motorcycle and sport utility vehicle that took place the evening before in a busy intersection.

The crash took place at about 7:40 p.m. on Route 190 (known locally as Hazard Avenue) at the intersection of Route 192 (known locally as North Maple Street), police said.

According to a preliminary crash report, a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe being driven by a 40-year-old Longmeadow, MA, man collided with a 2016 Harley-Davidson being operated by a 19-year old Enfield man. The driver of the bike was transported to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the crash report.

The crash remains under investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division, with assistance from the Metro Traffic Services regional team. Anyone with
