New North Thompsonville Deputy Fire Chief Sworn In
He brings nearly four decades of experience to his new position.

ENFIELD, CT — Jay Macsata was sworn in Monday as the new deputy chief for the North Thompsonville Fire Department.
Macsata, who has served as a captain since 1995, replaces Doug Maxellon, who retired after nearly 25 years as deputy chief.
"Doug is still going to help us on special projects; his nearly 25 years as deputy chief have been great," Chief Earl Provencher said. "Because of Jay's years of experience and continued training, his knowledge will be invaluable."
