Enfield Building Sells For $1.2M

Town records show the industrial-zoned property was assessed at $895,600.

ENFIELD, CT — A 16,845-square-foot commercial building that has housed Nutmeg Technologies has sold for $1.2 million, according to a recent broker announcement.

Sentry Commercial announced the sale of 270 George Washington Road in Enfield. The Hartford Business Journal, citing town land records, reported that Sarmat Properties LLC bought the building from 279 Nutmeg Road South LLC.

Town assessment records have not yet been updated to reflect the new owner. They show 279 Nutmeg Road South LLC bought the property for $1.1 million on April 19, 2022.

The building was constructed in 2001 and includes 14,421 square feet of finished space and 2,424 square feet of unfinished first-floor space, for a total of 16,845 square feet, according to the assessor record.

The property is in Enfield's I-1 industrial zone. Its 2025 appraisal was $1,279,500, while its assessed value was $895,600. The town record lists the parcel at 2.74 acres.

Nutmeg Technologies moved its headquarters to the building after the 2022 purchase, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

Nutmeg Technologies' plans following the sale were not immediately available.
