O'Reilly Auto Parts Finally Opens Long-Awaited Enfield Location
The newest Connecticut location for the auto parts chain opened last week in the Scitico section of town.

ENFIELD, CT — More than six years after purchasing a long-vacant bank property in the Scitico section of Enfield, O'Reilly Auto Parts finally opened its newest outlet last week.
Located at 561 Hazard Avenue on the site of the former Webster Bank building, the 7,218 square-foot business becomes the 35th O'Reilly store in Connecticut, with the Stafford site closest to Enfield. There are also locations in Vernon and Manchester.
The bank branch closed in 2014, and O'Reilly bought the 0.77-acre property for $525,000 in June 2017, according to town land records. On Oct. 4, 2018, the Enfield Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously approved a special permit application, but demolition work on the old building did not begin until Dec. 2022.
