Parkway Pavilion Residents enjoyed a pre Saint Patrick’s Day performance by the Black Rose Academy of Dance of Springfield on Sunday March 8. Under the direction of their teacher, Bridget Dupuis, students performed a variety of Irish Dances and Reels with both soft and hard shoes. Dancers ranged in age from five to twenty years old.

According to Diane Sokol, Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation Center Activities Director, “We were very fortunate the Black Rose Academy students entertained and helped our residents enjoy an early St. Patrick’s Day. Much has changed since March 8 and our facility is now closed to all visitors. Daily routines have changed greatly over the last couple of weeks.”

Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation is currently taking every precaution to protect their residents from the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to enhance open lines of communication, a weekly Family “Town Meeting will be held on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. Parkway staff, along with Wachusett Healthcare Regional Team Members will be on hand to answer any questions and provide facility updates.
