Part Of Major Enfield Thoroughfare Closed Due to Multi-Vehicle Crash
A 2-vehicle crash closed a segment of Hazard Avenue for several hours, according to police and fire officials.

ENFIELD, CT — A 2-vehicle crash on Route 190 closed a segment of the busy road for a little over two hours, according to police.
The crash occurred around 12:01 p.m., prompting closure of the road between Victory Street and South George Washington Road. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes, and to use caution as traffic lights in the area were affected. The road re-opened around2:15 p.m.
Power was shut down for 35 minutes on the eastbound side of Hazard Avenue, but has since been restored, according to Mark Zarcaro, public information officer for the Enfield fire departments.
