Why are you seeking this office?

It is an honor to serve the residents of Enfield, Somers, Stafford and Union as their Judge of Probate. I wish to continue serving residents in these towns for another four year term.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Residents filing matters in Probate Court need someone with compassion and experience to guide them through the process. I will continue to adjudicate matters promptly and with compassion, so that residents do not experience any undue delay.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Residents should note that if they need a hearing to be held in a location other than at the Probate Court in Enfield, for example in a nursing facility or hospital, they can make such a request and the Court will try to accommodate the request. The Court also accepts filings by mail and electronic filing.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My last four years as Judge of Probate, as well as my significant experience of over 20 years as an attorney, evidence the fact that I have the experience and compassion needed to continue to serve as the Judge of Probate. Prior to being elected as Judge of Probate, my practice focused on probate matters, estate planning and real estate transactions.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Listen. You can learn a lot from others.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am also an Adjunct Faculty member at Bay Path University and am very active in the community. I am the Vice Chairperson of the Asnuntuck Community Foundation Board, a member of the North Central CT Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
