Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Interstate 91 In Enfield
A Massachusetts woman was struck and killed by a vehicle which did not stop after the collision on the highway late Sunday night.

ENFIELD, CT — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the southbound side of Interstate 91 in Enfield late Sunday night, according to state police.
Around 10:23 p.m., the woman, later identified as Yaseri Cortes, 20, of Springfield, Mass., was on foot in the center lane of three, north of Exit 48, when she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop, but continued south on I-91, state police said.

Any witness to the collision is asked to contact Trooper Michael Dean at Troop H at 860-534-1098 or through email at michael.dean@ct.gov. Anyone with a vehicle equipped with a dashcam who was driving through the area at the time of the collision is also asked to contact Trooper Dean.
