Tremendous work was exhibited by students of all ages Friday and Saturday.

This past weekend, the Woman’s Club of Enfield sponsored the 47th annual Arts Festival at Enfield High School, featuring work by Enfield students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Enfield is the only Women’s Club in the state of Connecticut to bestow scholarships to students advancing their creative studies in the visual arts.

This year’s program was dedicated to Mr. Newell Murri, a former Enfield High School visual arts teacher who retired in 2002.
