An old advertisement and story from Enfield's past and how that site appears today, plus a trivia question.

ENFIELD, CT — Today's trip down memory lane features an ad from a mid-1970s telephone directory for Carl Chevrolet, owned and operated by Carl Pagella across from the Enfield town hall at 809 Enfield Street.
Pagella became a very recognizable town personality due to appearing in numerous local television commercials for his business.
According to public records available online, Pagella is now 79 and lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Prior to Pagella's ownership, the dealership was known in the 1950s as Louis Chevrolet, owned by Louis Halbwachs. In the 1960s it became Peters Chevrolet, owned by Peter Scalia. From the mid-1990s to early 2000s, the building housed Brake King Automotive, owned by Moshe Ronen.
