Brewery To Close Enfield Taproom, Move To Suffield

ENFIELD, CT — Powder Hollow Brewery is leaving Enfield this fall, ending its run at the Hazard Avenue taproom before joining a new brewery partnership in Suffield.

The brewery’s final day at 504 Hazard Ave. will be Saturday, Oct. 10, according to an announcement from Powder Hollow.

“We couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to our beloved taproom without one final celebration,” the brewery said.

Powder Hollow will move into Broad Brook Brewing Company’s building at 915 South St. in Suffield. The location will be renamed The Taproom at Suffield.

The new taproom will bring Powder Hollow and Broad Brook together with Amherst Brewing and Libation Artisan Beverages. Plans call for more than 20 beers on tap, with selections from the four producers and rotating offerings from other breweries.

The Suffield rebranding is expected to be completed this fall.

Powder Hollow’s Enfield taproom serves beer brewed on site and shares its Hazard Avenue property with R Dee Winery. The brewery has not announced what will become of the Enfield space after the move.

Additional information about the Oct. 10 closing celebration is expected to be released closer to the date.
