Prostitution Arrests Made After Enfield Police Probe At Spa

Authorities said a resident's complaint prompted a targeted operation that resulted in charges.

ENFIELD, CT — What began with a complaint from a resident led Enfield police to a North Main Street business earlier this week, ending with two arrests tied to an alleged prostitution operation.

According to the Enfield Police Department, officers conducted a planned operation on Jan. 20 at the Oasis Wellness Spa, located at 25 North Main Street. Police said the investigation stemmed from a citizen-initiated complaint and was supported by additional information developed during the course of the probe.

As a result of the investigation, Soon Kim, 55, of Flushing, New York, was arrested and charged with prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution, under Connecticut General Statutes. Police said Kim was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
