Public Info Session Set For Proposed Enfield Street Alterations
A representative from the state Department of Transportation will discuss the proposed changes and answer questions at a public forum.

ENFIELD, CT — Residents and other interested parties are invited to a public informational meeting concerning planned reconfiguration of a segment of Enfield Street, between Grant Avenue and University Place.
A diagram issued by the Enfield town manager's office indicates a proposal to change the current configuration, which has two lanes in each direction, to a single lane north and southbound, with a center lane designated for left turns coming from either direction. The diagram also shows widened shoulders on both sides of the roadway.

An open forum with officials from the Connecticut Department of Transportation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. Residents, commuters, business owners and other interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about and discuss the proposed project.
