Well, it looks like it’s official. Chick-fil-A has a firm opening date for its new restaurant in Enfield.
The Atlanta-based chain, famous for its chicken fillet sandwiches, has announced its grand opening for its Hazard Avenue location in town will be Feb. 26.
And, reportedly, in keeping with the Chick-fil-A tradition, the first 100 adults in line will be eligible for free supply of Chick-fil-A for a year, according to a report in The Courant. A spokesman told the newspaper that waiting lines are expected to begin Feb. 25 and the prizes will be awarded when the restaurant opens at 6 a.m. Feb. 26.

When Chick-Fil-A opened in Brookfield last fall, folks camped out for days in the rain, hoping to score one of those free-for-a-year bonuses. The Enfield store will be the fourth to open in Connecticut.
And Enfield seniors — don’t forget you can get a cut of the action too. You won’t have to camp out to sample Chick-fil-A.
