Rich's Oil Conducting Eighth Annual Turkey Drive

Rich’s Oil in Enfield’s eighth annual Turkey Drive will help ensure that families and individuals in north central Connecticut enjoy a festive Thanksgiving meal.

Rich’s Oil, Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, located at 12 Moody Road, Enfield, will host their eighth annual Turkey Drive on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The turkeys will be delivered to food shelves in Enfield and surrounding towns. Turkeys will be accepted throughout the week, at Rich’s Oil, for anyone wishing to donate a turkey but unable to deliver it on Saturday.

Last year’s drive resulted in over 100 turkeys donated to the food shelf. Rich Tkacz, owner of Rich’s, and his staff are gearing up for this year’s event to make for a fun filled morning.

Tkacz stated, “My staff and I look forward to the annual turkey drive, a time to give back to the community while greeting customers and members of the community. I encourage folks to stop by and enjoy some refreshments. ”
