Rogers Memorial Studio in Enfield Celebrating 100th Anniversary

ENFIELD, CT — Rogers Memorial Studio, founded in 1917, is celebrating 100 years of designing and carving monuments and memorials. P.J. Rogers, founded the studio, which is located on Route 5 in Enfield. In 1949, Francis J. D’Aleo purchased the business while keeping the name and continuing to provide quality service.

In 1986, after completing college and working under his father’s tutelage for a number of years, John F. D’Aleo purchased the business. In the years since, Rogers Memorial has grown from serving the town of Enfield to serving Suffield, Somers, Stafford, East Windsor, Windsor Locks, as well as Hartford. In recent years western Massachusetts including Springfield, Longmeadow, Agawam, West Springfield, Chicopee and beyond are part of Rogers Memorial service area.

According to John “Jay” D’Aleo, “commitment to quality of material and detail of design is what our company is built on. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and installation of all of our projects. I am proud to continue the legacy started 100 years ago.”

John D’Aleo is past president and current director of the Monument Builders of Connecticut, as well as the New England Monument Dealers Association, a member and past vice-president of the Monument builders of North America and locally a member of the North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and Knights of Columbus.
