Segment Of Busy Enfield Road Closed Nearly 11 Hours Following Crash
The stretch of roadway was closed from mid-afternoon until the early morning hours, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A motor vehicle accident prompted closure of a segment of North Maple Street for nearly 11 hours Monday, according to police.
Following a single-vehicle crash into a utility pole, the street was closed between Brook and Bacon roads, according to an alert sent at 4:41 p.m. to subscribers of the town's Everbridge notification system.
Capt. Bryan Nolan said the road was fully re-opened around 3 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were sustained in the crash, he said.
