ENFIELD, CT — A collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle on Route 5 has resulted in a fatality and road closure. The crash took place shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Hathaway Avenue and Enfield Street. William Rush, 84, of 5 Hathaway Avenue was struck by a northbound vehicle on Route 5. The crash took place shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Hathaway Avenue and Enfield Street. William Rush, 84, of 5 Hathaway Avenue was struck by a northbound vehicle on Route 5.
