ENFIELD, CT — For the past several weeks, a number of Enfield-based social media pages have been dominated by the repetitious query, "What is being built at so-and-so?" Construction is underway on these four major projects about which that question is most frequently asked.

118 Hazard Avenue
Trees are being cleared for construction of an adult assisted living facility on 19.4 acres. The Kaplan Development Group of Jericho, N.Y. has been approved for a 2-story building, consisting of 29,000 square feet. An emergency access drive to and from Middle Road will also be built.

10 Hazard Avenue (Brookside Plaza)
Burlington Coat Factory will be moving into the space formerly occupied by Walgreens. A 6,725 square-foot expansion is being built in the rear of the plaza.

113 North Maple Street
Winstanley Enterprises has begun clearing 71 acres of former farmland just west of the former Enrico Fermi High School, for construction of a 501,000 square-foot distribution and warehouse facility. Agri-Mark and an unnamed second tenant will be based in that location.
