Shaker Pines Fire District Provides Food to Those Less Fortunate
More than 1,500 pounds of food was collected during the annual Santa Run, which was donated to the Enfield Food Shelf.
Enfield, CT - The annual Santa Run by the Shaker Pines Fire Department was once again a huge success, benefiting the Enfield Food Shelf.
The community donated 1,540 pounds of food to the effort, as well as $290 in cash.
The donations were delivered to the food pantry on Alden Avenue Tuesday.
