UPDATE: Enfield High School Tournament Basketball Game Postponed

A threat of inclement weather has forced postponement of Wednesday's Class M tournament basketball game at Enfield High School, Enfield coordinator of athletics Barry Bernstein said.

The decision to postpone the game between Enfield and Goodwin Tech was made shortly before noon. A makeup date has yet to be determined, Bernstein said.

The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for rain and snow beginning Wednesday afternoon and likely continuing through Friday morning.

The Raiders, seeded sixth in Class M, advanced to the second round with a 78-43 win over #27 Wilcox Tech Monday. Goodwin Tech, the number 11 seed, went to a pair of overtimes with #22 Suffield before prevailing 60-58.

The winner will advance to the quarterfinals against the winner of the matchup between #3 Bethel and #19 Berlin.
