State Police Dog Finds Body of Missing Enfield Man
The man had been reported missing less than a week ago.

ENFIELD, CT — A Connecticut State Police dog discovered the body of a missing Enfield man down an embankment near his home Thursday morning.
Police confirmed the body is that of Zachary Poirier, 20, who had been reported missing Jan. 7.
The canine found the body around 9:30 a.m. down an embankment at the end of Diamond Drive, one street away from his home on Luster Lane.

Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said the department is considering the case to be a suicide.
