Suffield Man Charged With Threatening Clerk at Enfield Motel
The 35-year-old man was in possession of a pellet gun at the time of his arrest.

A West Suffield resident was arrested Saturday night after allegedly brandishing a pellet gun at a clerk inside an Enfield motel.
Craig Beauregard, 35, of 1320 South Grand St., was charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace, and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was held on $10,000 bond, and was arraigned Monday in Enfield Superior Court.
Officers were called to the Enfield Inn on the King Street portion of Route 5 just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, with a report that a robbery was taking place, police said.

The female clerk told police that Beauregard had been sleeping in the lobby, and when she woke him to tell him to leave, he pointed a gun at her, police said.
When police arrived, Beauregard had apparently passed out again. He was found to be in possession of a pellet gun, police said.
