Suspect In Sexual Assault Case Extradited From Alabama To Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — A suspect in a 2017 sexual assault case in Enfield was recently arrested in his native Alabama and turned over to Enfield police this week.

Eutiquio Natividad Reyes, 35, was arrested Oct. 2 on a third-degree assault charge, as well as being a fugitive from justice, according to Alabama judicial records. He was turned over to Enfield detectives Thursday and brought back to Connecticut, where he was charged with illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16, and first-degree sexual assault on a victim under age 10, Lt. Keith Parent said.

Bond was set at $100,000, and he was slated to be arraigned Friday in Hartford Superior Court, Parent said.

The sexual assault case stems from a 2017 incident in Enfield. The affidavit supporting Reyes' arrest is sealed, and no other information could be divulged, Parent said.
