Suspect In Theft of Donation Jar Sought By Enfield Police [VIDEO]

The man appears on a surveillance video taking a donation jar from the counter of an Enfield convenience store.

ENFIELD, CT — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a young man who was caught on surveillance video stealing a donation jar from a local business.

The theft occurred around 8 a.m. Friday at Sam's Food Store on the corner of Brainard and Washington roads. The man approached the clerk and asks something which makes the clerk turn his back, at which point the suspect grabbed a donation jar from the counter and exited the store. The donations were being collected for underprivileged children, police said.
