Teams From Enfield and Fermi High Schools to Compete in State Tournament Action
Three town high school squads qualified for postseason play.
Two teams from Fermi High School and one from Enfield High School have qualified for state tournament play, beginning this week.
The official tournament brackets will not be released until Tuesday, but based on the current rankings, one team is likely to have a first-round home game, while the other two will be on the road.
- Fermi boys soccer (10-5-1), currently seeded 13th in Class L, will likely host Cheney Tech on Thursday, Nov. 8.
- Fermi field hockey (7-9), currently seeded 13th in Class M, will likely travel to Avon on Friday, Nov. 9.
- Enfield girls soccer (9-7), currently seeded 20th in Class M, will likely travel to Laurelton Hall on Friday, Nov. 9.
