Throwback Thursday: Do You Remember...?
An old advertisement and story of a business from Enfield's past.

ENFIELD, CT — In this weekly series, Enfield Patch remembers a business or landmark in town that is no longer in existence.
We continue the format of this column we recently instituted: old advertisements from local businesses in some 1960s-1980s Enfield and Fermi high school yearbooks and early-1960s to mid-1980s telephone directories and newspapers.
Today we go back to a simple ad in the 1967 Enfield High School yearbook for the Ringside Restaurant. The sports-themed bar and restaurant was a longtime institution in Thompsonville, housed at the corner of Spring Street and Maple Avenue.

Hank Brignoli owned the Ringside for more than 20 years; he passed away in 2000 at age 76.
The site is currently home to the Enfield Tap.
