Ujima African American Alliance Receives $5000.00

CT Cultural Fund Operating Support Grant from CT Humanities

Enfield, CT, Jan 18, 2023 – Ujima African American Alliance was recently awarded a $5000.000 CT Cultural Fund Operating Support Grant from CT Humanities(CTH). Ct Cultural Fund Operating Support Grants assist organizations as they recover from the pandemic and maintain and grow their ability to serve their community and the public.

"We are grateful for the support of (CTH) This grant will allow Ujima African American Alliance to expand our new African American exhibit at the Enfield Historical Museum. Ujima AAA is the first African American organization to be officially formed in Enfield “This is a historical event” said Rosalind Swift founder of the Ujima African American Alliance. We look forward to discovering the historical footprints and role of African Americans in Enfield.!
