ENFIELD, CT — A portion of Post Office Road has been closed as firefighters attempt to extricate a driver who crashed into an above-ground swimming pool Sunday morning.Police radio messages dispatched officers, firefighters and EMS personnel to the area of 126 Post Office Road around 7:15 a.m. The driver was reported to be unconscious but breathing, and extrication efforts commenced.Firefighters reported to command at 7:34 a.m. that the driver had been removed from the vehicle.Police have set up a detour down Windham Road to avoid the scene.No further information was immediately available.Photo credit: Google Maps
