Police Release Photo of Suspect In Webster Bank Robbery

Enfield police have released a photograph of a suspect who robbed the Webster Bank branch in Scitico early Friday afternoon.
Lt. William Zaczynski said police received a report of the holdup at 1:14 p.m. The suspect handed a note to a teller demanding cash, then fled the scene.
Canine officer Matt Worden and his dog, Falco were dispatched to the scene to attempt a track, but were unsuccessful, Zaczynski said.

The suspect is described as a bald light-skinned white male, in his mid- to late 20s, with a medium build. He was wearing a knit cap and a gray hooded sweatshirt during the robbery, Zaczynski said.
A surveillance video from a nearby business showed the suspect had removed the cap while fleeing on foot westbound toward Hazard Avenue, police said.

Police said Webster Bank is offering a reward for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Enfield Police Department at 860-763-8911.
