What Are The Best Snacks? Enfield Teens To Decide

Teens ages 12-18 can sample snacks from around the world and vote for their favorite at Enfield Public Library on July 24.

ENFIELD, CT — Local teens are invited to curb their munchies by going to the town's library this week to determine what the best snack in the world is.

The Enfield Public Library is inviting local teens to put their taste buds to the test during a "Snack Battle" on Friday, July 24.

The free event, open to ages 12 to 18, will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the library, 104 Middle Road.

Participants will sample a variety of sweet and savory snacks from around the world, debate their favorites with fellow tasters, and vote to determine the winning snack.

Library staff encouraged teens to register in advance.

"The contenders are ready, the bracket is set. Which will win the Snack Battle this Friday? Teens, reserve your spot and decide the winner!" the Enfield Public Library wrote in a social media post announcing the event.
